About
I have moved to a new site - click here to visit.
A glimpse, a view, a perspective, a mosaic, an image, a tour amongst the garbage and the flowers. I live in Tel Aviv, the first Hebrew city in modern times, a UNESCO world heritage site, the city that never sleeps, and which was a mosquito filled swamp just over a century ago. It’s the subject of most of the pictures here.
Through the years, a man peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, tools, stars, horses and people. Shortly before his death, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the image of his own face
Borges, The Forking Path
And to think that while I play with doubtful images/ the city I sing persists/ in a predestined place of the world,/ with its precise topography/ peopled like a dream . . .
Borges, Benares

אני חושבת שכשאנשים מצלמים – הם מסתכלים בסביבם ורואים יותר – בכל מקרה, זה מה שקרה לי
